In 2002 he was honorably discharged with the rank of Major and returned back to DFW where he has practiced family medicine ever sense. He is currently Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine and has been named D Magazine Doctor for first Dallas and now Collin County a total of 9 times.
