I chose gastroenterology as a specialty because of my interest in gastrointestinal physiology and the wide spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders. I also very much enjoy the balance between procedural and clinical medicine that gastroenterology offers. Do you have a specialty of interest within GI? I have a clinical interest in pancreaticobiliary disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, general gastrointestinal disorders, colon cancer screening, and advanced endoscopic procedures such as EUS and ERCP.
